Looking through my OTC pharmacy in my bathroom, I realize that this town is trying to kill me. I have purchased more of the usual (cough drops, Tylenol, Pepto) and some new things too (Benadryl, Excedrin). What is with this place? I blame the stress of school. I learned that stress releases glucocorticoids. Prolonged use of exogenous glucocorticoids have many, many side effects. Well how about prolonged use of endogenous glucocorticoids? I'd have to look up in my notes all of the different side effects, but sad to say that I recognized some of them in myself. Ugh.
I hate being sick. A cold and stomach flu this weekend. Awful. Still not fully well, but back to school I go. Hopefully I live through the day.
